Aya is a young adult vampire who grew up tucked away safely in an ancient castle on the coast.

The community of vampires living there are tightly knit and all she’s ever known, she was born after the world was consumed.

As a result, she’s naive and woefully unprepared for the harsh reality she lives in. But she has a rare and unshakable empathy for others. She wants to be someone who demands respect, but she's fallen in with some bad company.
